Went up to Uni the other day to hand in my report etc. I also took the camera and snapped a few photos. Enjoy…
Some new part of campus still under construction.

Some shadow on some strong colour. I think it’s a wall, or it could be something else…

The underpass below “the Parade”. Separating pedestrians and vehicles.

…
I went for a walk late Friday afternoon after work instead of going to the gym. I was just playing with my newly arrived battery grip.

The light at this time was quite nice, the flaky purple paint attracted me to this one.

Bath Markets shot from next to the weir.

Some door to a large shed…there is a weird purple tinge to parts of this image; unsure if I like it or not.

Bokeh Mr Pigeon.

ooh just noticed this was picture 400:

…
Well, I have set up a profile on linkedin, I wonder if anything will come of it.
Just catching up on posting photos as I have been busy with work. Still more to come, recently got a battery grip for my 40D (did I not say I have replaced my 400D with a 40D?).
Enjoy the sunset, well what was left after it had set; I missed the actual setting because I was doing the dishes…

I quite like the tree line in this shot:

I have started taking pictures of more than just the sunset once the sun has set.

Road signs anyone?

…
We went to the family fun day at Bath Racecourse courtesy of IPL. It rained, as expected, but it wasn’t too bad. Enjoy a few of the photos I took on the day.

…
I made pancakes again, I shot a few pictures of them in the strong afternoon sun.

The nice light and weather prompted me to go for a short walk.

Later that evening I went along to my favourite spot for photographing the sunset…

This one looks like a bird, maybe a Phoenix.

I like the soft glow of the bollard below as the evening light fades away…

…
Ok the oranges were a mistake… not my fault :p
There was also some lemon in there, it was pretty good. Next time I think the apples should go on/closer to the top.
Anyway, here are some pics of it…
Fresh from the oven.

Cutting…

Someone couldn’t wait to eat some…

…
Spent some of the day in Truro. The clouds didn’t look good for the Carnival in the evening.

Some flowers :)

Back to St Agnes, I am sure these signs would have confused any visitor!

We decided to go to the field where all the entrants were preparing and being judged.

The Morrisettes - The Aggie Old Girls, Merry Morris Maidens.
There were a variety of dogs walking around on two legs…

“Name? Austin Danger Powers. Sex? Yes please!”

Loving the bright colours, especially against the nice dark grey sky.

Giant bolster arising.
After this I swiftly walked back to some friends for dinner, I just got in before it started to rain quite hard…

These people however would have got quite wet.

“Where’s my food?”

“I’m still waiting.”

The morris girls as they dance in the rain.

Brightly coloured, wet fairies…
…
Well this is a post and run, no time for words, well apart from these of course…

Crazy, flash + long exposure

…
Out for a quick walk around town to do some things, was a nice clear, bright, contrasty afternoon.

The SouthGate development in Bath is finally starting to take shape.

Some random wall somewhere, I like the shadows and yellow lines.

Nice bright red door.

One of a little clothes shoot we did.

Then Gratin for dinner :D

It was very nice.
…
Went out to my favourite spot for more sunset photos. Here is what I came back with, I quite like them.

After getting back I had more of the marrow-sized courgette for dinner.
Picture just for Rob who wanted to know what happened to it after being photographed last time.
…

Some shots of the marrow Courgette right before being prepared for cooking:

P.S. Thanks to Clive T for the Courgette!
…
Went for a drive/walk near Falmouth with a friend who I’ve not seen in ages.
I am wondering if it is better to put the text or an image above or below… any thoughts get in touch.
So, on with the show.

Maybe underneath is better, so you can see the image then read what ever it is I have to say about it?
Or would on top be better so you get my input for the photo before seeing it. The one below, for instance I like how the sky is still exposed and the lines/layers of the picture, or something like that.

I think I will stick with below.

There was a large black cloud in the middle of the sea. Perfectly clear and sunny on the beach and near the coast. The water almost looks tropical.

Picked up some detail of the pebbly beach were we sat and chatted for a while.
The good picture of Gen :) (or maybe a combination of below and above depending on the picture and what I have to say)

Well hello there.
After teaching Gen how to focus she took this picture of me which I quite like. Very arty :D

Love this photo, unfortunately just happened to capture a strange expression. Will need to do some more when we next meet up :p

Was she trying to match the flag?
